Ben Graham will become the first Australian ever to play in a Super Bowl when he suits up later today in Tampa. He's the punter for the underdog Arizona Cardinals. He played Australian Rules Football for several years before coming to the US in 2005 and signing on with the New York Jets. Graham was waived by the Jets last year, then moved to the New Orleans Saints for a little while and then was signed as a free agent by the Cardinals. One of my first cases as a solo immigration lawyer was for an Australian NFL player and I was a law clerk in Arizona in the summer of 1988 and saw the very first Cardinals game in Arizona (versus the Saints if I recall correctly). And I like underdogs. So I'll be pulling for the Cardinals today. Good luck Ben!
