I bet you thought that if you are a United States citizen that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has no jurisdiction over you. You would think that ICE's express authority only relates to the enforcement of our immigration laws, and if you are a United States citizen you would be free from unwarranted searches and seizures.

Think again.

The following video covers a story about United States citizen independent journalist Brandon Jourdan who has been put on a "list" by the Obama administration, which has resulted in his detainment and interrogation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at JFK airport after arriving from Haiti. Immigration agents confiscated his computer, notes, and camera during a five hour ordeal.

If you think that maybe this was nothing more than just a simple misunderstanding you would also be wrong. Mr. Jourdan has been harassed like this seven times in the past five years.
