Despite his insistence that he is a US citizen, ICE detained Rennison Vern Castillo for seven months before they realized the mistake and realeased him. Today he got justice - a damage settlement and a public apology from ICE. Hopefully, the case will lead to better procedures so that this is not nearly as common
