32 Rochester Aveby William Urmson
I wrote 32 Rochester Ave in 2003 for The National Visa Center's Annual Christmas Party. I performed it and received my first and probably last standing ovation. I think they liked it! LOL. The song was written like letters we would get addressed to the NVC's director from people all over the world. These same letters set the tone for my activism today. I love this country and what it stands for and will do everything in my power to preserve the melting pot called America!
32 ROCHESTER AVE Dear Mr. Director of the N.V.C., I just want the best for my family. See, where they're from freedom is craved. Please allow them to live in the Home of the Brave. Have you heard the latest? They've found Noah's Ark in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, near Hilton Park. It's started to rain…..the world is flooding through. It's where lives are saved……..32 Rochester Avenue. Standing in the harbor of New York City the envy of mankind - Lady Liberty made of concrete and copper, just a lifeless statue. Ya see, her soul lives in New Hampshire……..32 Rochester Avenue. Dear Mr. Director of the N.V.C., I just want the best for my family. See, where they're from freedom is craved. Please allow them to live in the Home of the Brave. A man's last request to see his son once more. Children receive medicine now live past four. Husbands and wives reunite, reviving their love in the land where blessings flow bestowed from above. Next time you feel depressed or bored, remember you're the key that unlocks a door to prayers answered and dreams come true. Thank God for the people of……..32 Rochester Avenue. Dear Mr. Director of the N.V.C., I just want the best for my family. See, where they're from freedom is craved. Please allow them to live in the Home of the Brave. Allow them to live in the Home of the Brave.
