Dear Editor:
But I would prefer to believe the former, and must applaud
Murray's refreshing position of not endorsing any further amnesty for
illegals. Regarding the other discrepancies, we are all still trying to
resolve those and I would submit we need to look to a higher authority
to do so. As God has given us our agency and tries to work with flawed
men, many of these may be attributed to ourselves and those in early
history had different conditions.
Mr. Murray seriously underestimates the magnitude of the invasion
problem, either by legal or illegal parameters as defined by him and/or
by current law. "Legal" immigration has risen by 65% in the past 2
years according to INS data and exceeded one million persons in 2001,
the highest number in a century. [Quoted in Oct. FAIR Report,
www.fairus.org ] While a limited immigration policy has always been
beneficial, the mass numbers coming now constitutes an invasion and a
real threat.
Massive "immigration" numbers as a result of our lax policies and
unsecured borders are affecting Americans in many adverse ways and were
a participating, proximate cause in the tragic events of Sept. 11 and
the sniper killings.
As a priority matter of self-defense and national survival, this has to
be addressed and changed.
Two excellent booklets are available which should be read by all
Americans (this would presumably include immigration attorneys). They
are: "Immigration Out Of Control" and "Immigration and Nation, A
Biblical View", both by John C. Vinson whose website is found at:
www.aicfoundation.com (click on booklets). In the latter, Deut. 32:8
and Acts 17:26 indicate that God prefers that different cultures have
their own lands as "bounds of habitation". To do otherwise would seem
to be an attempt at constructing a modern "tower of Babel". Is there an
authoritative message to be gleaned from the destruction of the WTC
towers ?
Also highly recommended are: www.vdare.com,
www.immigrationcontrol.com, and www.americanpatrol.com
I find no particular reason or purpose in attaching my name as I am
not seeking credit and like the Lone Ranger of former TV years, prefer
that the deed and/or the words stand for themselves. Besides, Tonto has
left to manage an Indian casino. I am the Really Lone Ranger.
