The following is in response to the Editor's Comments in the December 17, 2001, issue of Immigration Daily.

Dear Editor:

Heaven forbid we should use the proper term for someone, such as "alien." Next thing you know it might become acceptable to call them "illegal aliens," which is a proper term for between 6 and 11 million people in this country, depending on whose figures you use.
