SECRETARY OF HOMELAND SECURITY TOM RIDGE ANNOUNCES JASON KLITENIC AS DEPUTY GENERAL COUNSEL
Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge today announced the appointment of Jason Klitenic as the new Deputy General Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Klitenic has been serving as the Deputy Associate Attorney General at the Department of Justice since January 2002. Before working at the Justice Department, Mr. Klitenic was a partner at Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, which he joined in 1995 as a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Investigations Group. Mr. Klitenic is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
