Changes In Immigration Daily
Immigration Daily is a work in progress, we continually strive for improvement. Most changes in Immigration Daily have been as a result of user feedback. Based on feedback received earlier this year from our readers, we are implementing a number of changes to Immigration Daily.
We are adding a new section: "ComingsNGoings" which will feature professional announcements for immigration lawyers such as addition of new associates and/or partners, change of law office location and/or adding new offices, law firm mergers and acquisitions, etc. Announcements of 75-words or fewer will be placed free of charge. Based on reader feedback, we have decided to restrict items in this section to professional announcements only, births, marriages, etc. will not be featured at this time. We are open to continuing suggestions from our readers as this new feature evolves.
Earlier this year, we solicited reader opinion on whether we should carry newspaper links. The feedback we received showed that while many readers felt this to be a valuable feature, registration with large numbers of newspapers was a concern expressed by many. From our point of view, the hundreds of broken links that we have on our website as a consequence of changes at newspaper sites is a major issue. Based on all of this, we will no longer carry newspaper links in Immigration Daily on a regular basis. However, we do expect from time to time to include links to newspaper articles of particular note. Please be assured, however, that we expect to continue to increase over time the range, quality, and quantity of information on immigration law that we carry.
We once again remind our readers that Immigration Daily is a work in progress and that we view you as our partners in progress, helping us shape this periodical for the future. As always, we invite your comments at editor@ilw.com.
