Alamo City Activity

ILW.COM is pleased to hold "The PERM Workshop" on June 21st - 8:30-5pm, an all-day comprehensive workshop on PERM and labor certification practices (for more info, see here.) Walk-ins are welcome to attend - the $499 registration fee will be accepted at the door (San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk, Salon C).

Several thousand immigration attorneys and professionals are expected to attend AILA's Annual Conference, held this year in San Antonio, TX (June 21-24, 2006). ILW.COM will be in San Antonio all week exhibiting at AILA. Many interesting events will occur during the four-day long conference; a sampling from Thursday, June 22nd:

  • Keynote Address by Dr. Gonzalez, Director, USCIS, DHS 9:00-9:30am
  • AILA Annual Membership Meeting 5:15-6:30pm (members vote on proposed bylaw amendments, receive updates and reports on membership benefits and activities, and national election results will be announced)
  • Practice Roundtable: Immigration Lawyering In A 21st Flat World 8:00-10:00pm - we have heard that there will be a surprise live performance.
The above events are only a selection from Thursday, exciting events will occur throughout the meet and can be found in the Conference Agenda. The AILA Annual Conference has been the single largest industry gathering for decades and offers unparalleled opportunities for networking.
