Dear Editor:
Mr. Robert's letter (11/23/09 ID) written about "right to exclude" at the collective will of the (majority) group of the people. This is exactly tyranny of the majority up on the minorities, where heterosexual people can deny the rights of gays to get equal rights and protection in marriage, and it's perfectly fine to segregate public services such as transit system sitting based on skin color and races if this is also the will of the (majority) of the people. I am fine with it as long as anyone can accept the fact being minorities mean it's ok to be persecuted and discriminated against. Non muslims living in Muslims majority countries should not complaint about any persecution for being minorities there. I am also fine with all draconian immigration laws and exclusion as long as it's applied retroactively 400 years from today just right before illegal European settlers setting up their illegal feet on Western Hemisphere. Republicans and conservatives have no credibility on morality issues, family values and fiscal sanity and common sense. We have more than enough hypocrisy on gay bashing gay in the closet conservative politicians and preachers and unfaithful ones cheating on their spouses. Balking on health care costs and soaring deficit and put the blame of liberals and Democrats while say none that these debt and deficit are inherited from costly wars started by warmonger right wing politicians and previous Republican regime. I was sick to my stomach watching "conservative" pundits like Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs daily rants about liberal "tax and spend" policies and illegal immigrants ruin and bankrupt the nation while say none to the costs of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and tax cuts on the wealthiest of wealthy Americans while we need extra money to cover the costs. Unbelievable.

Robert Yang
