Dear Editor:
I totally agree with Mr. Salike's letter. For the past several years we have tried to obtain support for the abolishment of this degrading way to obtain P.R. It started with Sen. Kennedy giving preference to Irish Nationals. It has outlived its usefulness (for him, anyway) It takes up the time of USCIS adjudicators as well as Consulate officers' time. We still have a backlog of worthy potential P.R's with all of the 2002 and 2003 I-485's E.B's. Can someone influential out there start a campaign? Is AILA strong enough?
