Dear Editor:
I saw the letter in Immigration Daily from the 3rd year law student who is looking for the previous legislation dealing with H-1b's. The American Competitiveness and Workforce Improvement Act of 1998 (Pub. L. No. 105-227, 112 Stat. 4978 (div. C, title IV) and the American Competitiveness in the Twenty-First Century Act (Pub. L. No. 106-313, 114 Stat. 1312) both increased the H-1b cap and provided other H-1b provisions.
