DHS Final Rule Exempts A File And SEVIS From Privacy Protections
DHS published notice of a final rule, effective October 23, 2008, to amend its regulations to exempt portions of a new system of records entitled the "Immigration and Customs Enforcement General Counsel Electronic Management System" (GEMS) from certain provisions of the Privacy Act.
