"Physician Visas: What You Need To Know Now " Session 3 held on February 1, 2007
For more info, or to signup online, click here. From Joseph Curran February 14, 2006 memo from USCIS (Guidance for Schedule A Blanket Labor Certifications effective February 14, 2006). This can be found on the AILA website as doc # 06021661. From Chris Musillo If any attorney is interested in joining the Coalition to Improve Healthcare Staffing, please visit: http://www.coalitiononhealthcarestaffing.org/index.htm The Coalition has been around since 2004 . The group has two aims: 1. Knowledge resource- we have an email list-serv for questions, etc. about healthcare immigration cases. From time to time we also sponsor phone conferences. 2. Legislative initiatives -- we're currently pushing a bill to help end retrogression for Schedule A cases. The coalition seeks to have the Brownback amendment passed or other legislation to end nurse retrogression. There is no formal charge right now for membership. We do expect that members will donate some time to lobbying efforts and answering other attorneys' questions. Generally the lobbying consists of coaxing your clients to contact their representatives to push for Healthcare Immigration reform.
