Dear Editor:

My family are frustrated with immigration system. We have filed petitions for my Aunt's young children from Thailand and have waited 2 years now with no response. I have tried to fax information and status requests, called and mailed in inquiries and yet never receive any kind of response. We gone to the INS office itself waited from 7 am and did not get to speak to anyone until 2 pm and was turned away saying no information was available and to write or call the info line. The office I am referring to is the INS in Dallas. The children are nearing legal age which may make it even more difficult and we can't get any information on their petitions. What can we do?

Frustrated and angry,
Stacie
