Dear Editor:
I just want to take few minutes to thank you for your weekly email. Your weekly email gives me a hope that may be there is a new law that I can use to pursue my immigration case. Having lived in this great country for almost 13 years, I have enjoyed what this great country has to offer. There is no other country I want to live. I know that my immigration status is shaky but I know someday (God willing) I will get my green card. The card that will get me one step close to become a US citizen so I can say "I am Proud to be an American".
What happend on Sept.11 is probably one of the saddest thing I have seen in my life. How in the world stupid terrorist come to US to blow up a building. It was one of the saddest day in my life I can remember. Why? I felt like someone broke my house and stole all my belonging....I remember late that day ...I was driving on the highway with my roomate and we both were silent..our windows were rolled up and we both weren't saying anything but I can feel that we both were thinking the same thing.....It was quiet in the car..I remember seeing cars travelling on the highway and thinking... things may not be the same again .....
I know this day changed a lot of Americans' view toward immigrants but trust me..There are a lot of us that were hurt as much if not more. They affected not only Americans but the rest of the world...It is truly sad to see some idiots who don't care about life can come and try destroy civilization.
Again, thanks for your help and please keep pushing 245-i.
